Police sponsor National Night Out in Skokie

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- Police sponsored a meet-and-greet with the public called National Night Out in Skokie.

The program gives residents in that northern suburb a unique opportunity to get to know their officers.

Earlier Monday night, Skokie police visited several parks within the village, officers answered questions about the community, and personally addressed concerns.

It was the third annual National Night Out campaign in Skokie.
