Musician's stolen van possibly used in crash-and-grab burglary

TINLEY PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- There may be a link between a musician's stolen van and a crash-and-grab burglary in the southwest suburbs.

On Saturday morning, the thieves used a van in a crash-and-grab at the Best Buy in Tinley Park.

Ana Popovic, a musician on tour, said police say it was her van that was used in the burglary. It was stolen from a hotel parking lot in Oak Forest early Saturday Morning.

"And in a matter of minutes, took our van and left, there was no sign of any glass shattered or whatsoever, they were very fast," Popovic said.

Popovic said police told her the van that was left in place of her van was probably used in another crash-and-grab.
