CHICAGO -- It took four weeks for the Chicago Bears' biggest offensive free agent acquisition to reach the end zone.

Despite averaging 1.8 yards per carry through the first three weeks of the season, Chicago doubled down with its usage of running backD'Andre Swift. It paid off in the fourth quarter when the Pro Bowler broke free on a 36-yard touchdown run to extend the Bears' lead to 24-15 over the Los Angeles Rams with 12:33 to play in the game.

Swift received a handoff from rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and danced around a defender at the line of scrimmage. The rusher went uncontacted on the touchdown run, which was the longest rushing touchdown by a Bears player since Velus Jones Jr. ran in a 42-yard touchdown in 2018.
