Chicago Bulls guard Kris Dunn has a MCL sprain in his right knee, the team announced Tuesday.
Dunn will be re-examined following an initial two-week phase of immobilization and physical therapy.
Dunn, 25, is averaging 7.3 points and 3.4 assists in 51 games this season.
The guard is six starts away from reaching starter criteria and seeing his $4.6 million qualifying offer this offseason increase to $7.1 million, ESPN's Bobby Marks reports.
Dunn was injured Friday in the first quarter of Chicago's game with the Brooklyn Nets.
