CHICAGO (WLS) -- Every year for the past 50 years, a group of friends have made it a tradition to play a game of football together.
They have gathered every year for a game since they graduated high school.
This year they named it "Turkey Bowl 50."
"It's been a wonderful thing," said Art Givern. "We've gotten wonderful friendships that have come out of this, where guys who have known each other have been able to stay together."
"And at first it was just about the football. We just love football and love to play football, and after a few years of this we realized that it was the friendships that were the most important thing," Paul Murphy said.
The group says they're a little slower than they were when they first started playing, but their games are just as much fun.
