NEW YORK -- Nissan dealerships nationwide have teamed with Star Wars: Force for Change to host a toy drive benefitting the Toys for Tots organization on Dec. 17 and 18.

Participating Nissan dealerships across the country will collect unwrapped toys for distribution by Toys for Tots in time for the holidays. A special sweepstakes is being offered during the weekend for a chance to win tickets, valued up to $20 total to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is in theaters beginning on Dec. 16. See full program rules and alternate forms of entry: www.cfapromo.com/movietickets.

"Nissan's alliance with Lucasfilm and Star Wars reminds us that everybody has the choice to be a hero, and the holidays are a time when many children can benefit from the generosity of everyday heroes," said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications & Media, Nissan North America, Inc. "This toy drive is a way of bringing the magic and excitement of Star Wars to kids, so that they may experience the joy of the holidays with a message of hope."

Segments encouraging viewers to donate toys with Nissan will air on numerous ABC properties this month. Those spots include a special segment on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live and ABC's Good Morning America. The campaign also includes a 'Go Rogue' celebrity vignette, starring Ken Jeong (of ABC's "Dr. Ken") and ESPN Monday Night Football analyst Charles Woodson, which will air in ABC's eight Owned TV markets (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, Houston, San Francisco and Fresno), on numerous ABC-TV affiliates as well as during the Heisman on ESPN program.

"It's especially gratifying to work on a campaign that will help bring joy to deserving children during the holidays," said Debra OConnell, President of ABC National TV Sales. "Our local communities love to give back and this partnership inspires that spirit across our ABC platforms."

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of both Lucasfilm and this station.
