A United Airlines flight that left Chicago's O'Hare International Airport Friday was diverted due to an unruly passenger, officials said.
Passengers had to restrain a man who was violently kicking a seat and smashing a tray on a United Airlines flight from Austin to LAX.
The FBI says the suspect was walking back to his seat from the bathroom when he attacked the victim, who was sound asleep, in a random row that was not his. "The next thing I know, I just hear the these blood-curdling screams," said a passenger.
Officials said children and adults were among the 13 transported to area hospitals after a CTA bus crash.
The injury happened Wednesday afternoon on a United Airlines flight headed to O'Hare International Airport from Cancun International Airport, officials said.
A man has been charged in a deadly shooting on a CTA bus in Bronzeville earlier this week, Chicago police said.
