CHICAGO (WLS) -- The city of Chicago is making changes to its new tax on cloud-based services, such as Netflix and the subscription version of Spotify.

The mayor's office announced that start-ups and small businesses will be exempt from the tax to encourage new tech jobs to come to the city.
