CHICAGO -- Storm Sondors is a product developer. He takes an existing product or idea and makes it better.

Sondors lived in Chicago for ten years, making models for toys that you saw in McDonald's Happy Meals. He also had his own toy line in Walmart and Kmart.

He is an avid biker and used to bike Lake Shore Drive from his home in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood to downtown Chicago. He now lives in California and stills loves to bike.

But after an injury, Sondors found that he couldn't bike anymore. So he looked for an electric bike - and found they were WAY too expensive. He set out to build one for the masses and the Sondors eBike was born.

Sondors created a Kickstarter campaign to help bring his product to a wider market. Donations can be made through Saturday, Oct. 17.
