Ventra to unveil new app for Metra, Pace and CTA riders

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Sometime this fall, the new Ventra app will be available to Metra, Pace and CTA riders.

Ventra says it is getting very positive feedback from test groups using the app.

It will allow riders to buy Metra tickets or add money to your Ventra account on your smartphone. It will also have real-time travel updates for buses and trains for all three commuter agencies.
