Woman charged in South Shore stabbing

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Veronica Wilson, 48, of Chicago has been charged with first degree murder for the stabbing death of an Evanston man, Chicago police said.

The victim, identified as 46-year-old Andrew Brown, was found on the sidewalk in the 3000-block of East Cheltenham Place in the South Shore neighborhood just after midnight Monday.

Police haven't provided a motive for the murder or revealed the relationship between Wilson and Brown.
