Intentional Sports to host 1st annual Fútbol Festival in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Non-profit Intentional Sports is hosting it's first-ever Fútbol Festival Saturday in Chicago, and it's getting children on the pitch.

Gabe Garcia, Director of Soccer at Intentional Sports, and Dr. Neeraj Patel, Director of Orthopaedic Health Disparity & Community Outreach Programs and Co-Director of the Sports Medicine & Performance Program at Lurie Children's, joined ABC7 Friday to talk about the event.

Registration is open for the Fútbol Festival. It will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Intentional Sports Campus, 1841 N. Laramie Ave., Chicago.

The Intentional Cup match between CPD Soccer and Wheeling Soccer Academy will kick off at 11 a.m.
