CHICAGO -- We're in the middle of the campaign season, with Election Day coming up on November 8, 2016. But the technology behind voting seems to not be keeping up with the advancements in modern society. George Thiruvathukal, member of the IEEE Computer Society and professor of computer science at Loyola University Chicago, joined ABC 7 Eyewitness News to talk about how technology can shape elections.
