Walmart to shutter Chicago store in West Loop

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Walmart will close its store in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood on Jan. 25.

The Presidential Towers neighborhood market is located on West Monroe Street.

Pharmacy customers can pick up prescriptions through Feb. 3.

The retailer has not said what factors led to its decision to close the store.

Walmart said it will work with employees to transfer them to other store locations.
