CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are looking for the group of men behind a pair of armed robberies on sidewalks on the South Side.
Both attacks happened this past Sunday within half a mile of each other in Chicago's Washington Park neighborhood, police said. The robberies happened in the 300-block of East Garfield Boulevard at 6:40 p.m. and the 5600-block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at 6:50 p.m., police said.
In each case, the victims say the men approached them on the sidewalk, showed a gun, robbed them and took off, police said.
Police are searching for two to six suspects in connection with the robberies. Anyone with information is asked to contact Area Central Detectives at (312) 747-8382.
