Imagine yourself in an albino person's world where reading simple things are challenging. Then, you're told by your teachers,"You won't make it." This is what life has been like for one 28-year-old.

Despite all the obstacles Chris Jones has dealt with, he became a successful businessman, started a foundation, wrote a book and is working on his PhD.

" I wanted to write a book because I've met so many people over the years who have struggled and who have issues with disability, whether it's a vision disability or learning disability, and I wanted to show them can succeed, if they keep pushing and keep persevering to reach their goals," Jones said.

Chris' book Insight of Perseverance was published last year.

" When I wrote the book, I started bit and piece of the book back when I was starting college because there were so many obstacles I was overcoming," he said.

Growing up in Texas, Chris, who is legally blind, was always good with computers.

"I started back in 1997, really young, fixing computer for my neighbors and my family and it kind of grew from there," he said. "I currently do all sorts of consulting. I do programming. I do networking. I still put computers together, anything in the field, I like to assist with."

Being albino, Chris says there are a lot of misconceptions.

"One thing that being an albino is always, will always be evident, is having vision problem. There is a little bit of surgery out there that helps individuals who are albinos and have a vision disability, but more of them are not successful. So, it's better to adapt to your situation," said Chris.

Besides working on his PhD, Chris started a foundation.

"I want to start my company to find companies out there that would develop assisted-aid technology for any type of disability, and I would want grants for it -- maybe work on the IT side of it, or find people that can work with them," he said.

At 28 years old, Chris has accomplished a lot.

"When I'm 35, hopefully, I can start solving the world's problems," he said.
