SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people were injured in a serious north suburban crash on Friday night, police said.
Skokie police officers responded to the crash near Church and Keeler just after 10 p.m.
A vehicle traveling northbound Keeler Avenue collided with another vehicle traveling eastbound Church Street, police said.
One of the vehicles involved rolled over, and several parked cars were also hit and damaged.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital in stable condition, police said. The fire chief said at least one of the drivers suffered serious injuries.
The North Regional Major Crimes Task Force, Major Crash Assistance Team is assisting the Skokie Police Department with the investigation.
Authorities did not immediately provide further information about the crash.
