Man wounded in Near North Side shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was shot Thursday afternoon on the Near North Side.

He was shot in the right leg about 1:45 p.m. in the 400 block of West Blackhawk Street, police said.

He was taken in fair condition to Northwestern Hospital.
