Chicago teens shine at After School Matters gala

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago teenagers who participate in the city's After School Matters program showed off their talents at a gala Monday night.

Gala chairwoman Mellody Hobson, her husband film director George Lucas and former Mayor Richard Daley were there to watch the show.

Two hundred teenagers celebrated their accomplishments and showcased their work at the annual fundraiser.
