PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WLS) -- One person was killed when a truck hit an Amish horse-drawn buggy in northern Indiana, police said.
Police said the truck driver was blinded by the sun and didn't see the buggy, which was carrying a family of five Saturday. The crash happened in Parke County about 30 miles northeast of Terre Haute.
One man died and two others were hurt. Two horses also died.
