Anime fans head to Rosemont for Midwest convention

ROSEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Thousands of anime fans are in Rosemont this weekend for the 4th annual Anime Midwest Convention.

The three-day convention celebrates Japanese animation, video games and music.

One of the popular parts of the convention is the cosplay portion, where fans dress up as anime characters.

The convention is being held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare.
