SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco attorneys have filed a class-action lawsuit against Apple.

The suit accuses Apple of not providing as much storage space on iPhones, iPads and iPods as it advertises.

The plaintiffs say Apple's operating software, iOS 8, takes up as much as 23 percent of the device's internal storage.

And that lack of storage forces consumers to buy space on iCloud in order to keep their files, like pictures.

Apple hasn't responded to the suit.
