2011 Master Wheatley Seminar and Black Belt Test ~ (Sylvania) February 18-19 Master Wheatley is a 8th degree black belt and is an official International Instructor/Examiner of the ITF. He has been teaching in America since 1983, and is very well known in Taekwon-do for his excellence in the art of Taekwon-do. Master Wheatley trained with General Choi, Hong Hi and currently trains with General Choi's son Master Choi, Jung Hwa. We are very privileged to have him come to Sylvania again. The weekend will begin with a special black belt seminar on Friday with Master Wheatley from 6:00-8:00p.m. Saturday morning the event will begin with a black belt testing from 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m.. The Seminar will begin at 1:00p.m.until 5:00p.m. with all ranks and ages welcome. Master Wheatley is exceptional in his seminars making the material relevant to both high and low ranks. His presentation manages to hold the attention of even the young 5-6 year students. We all look forward to his excellent seminars and are thrilled to have him back again. The Ohio Ecological Food & Farm Association's (OEFFA) 32nd Annual Conference Inspiring Farms, Sustaining Communities ~ (Granville, OH) February 19-20 OEFFA's annual conference is Ohio's largest sustainable agriculture gathering. The 32nd annual conference, Inspiring Farms, Sustaining Communities, will feature more than 70 informative, hands-on, educational workshops; a fun and educational kids' conference; great homemade meals featuring local and organic foods; a child care area; a trade show; and Saturday evening entertainment. The conference will feature keynote speakers Joan Gussow and Klaas and Mary-Howell Martens. Joan Gussow was one of the first persons to envision, teach, and write about a local, organic whole food system, earning her the title "matriarch of the modern day food movement." Klaas and Mary-Howell Martens have farmed organic field crops since 1993 and own and operate New York's only dedicated organic feed mill and organic seed operation.
