Sketch of store shooter leads to 80 tips

Tinley Park police have gotten more than 80 new tips about the Lane Bryant store shootings since they released a sketch of the suspect.The sketch, released Saturday night, is based on a description provided by the sole survivor of the shooting in which five women were killed.

The gunman is described as African American between 5 ft 9 inches and 6 ft tall and between 200 to 230 lbs. with thick braided hair and a receding hairline.

Anyone with information about the suspect should call the police Tip Line at 708-444-5394. There is a $55,000 dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson laid a wreath outside the Lane Bryant store Sunday and held a prayer vigil. He is calling for stricter gun laws.
