Crews are patching the roadway's surface in advance of the final phase of a major rehab project, which is scheduled for April 4th.
That Edens project will involve a complete resurfacing of the 14-mile expressway from Lawrence Avenue to Lake Cook Road.
Weather permitting, lane closures will continue Saturday between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
