An autopsy was performed Monday, but the exact cause of Doby's death has not been released.
Doby played varsity football and basketball at Waubonsie Valley. He would have been a junior this fall.
Basketball player's death investigated
Sixteen-year-old Zamarri Doby collapsed during a game Sunday night.
He died at Provena Saint Joseph's Hospital in Joliet.
