3 injured in Chicago high-rise fire

December 6, 2009 (CHICAGO) The fire broke out on the 27th floor of the Malibu East Condominiums at Peterson and Sheridan road just before 12 p.m.

It's not clear yet what sparked the fire.

An elderly woman and her son, along with a neighbor, suffered from smoke inhalation.

It took firefighters about two hours to get the fire under control.
