Man struck by cab passes away

May 22, 2010 (CHICAGO) Daniel Firkins was at Honore and North Avenue last Friday when he tried to hail a cab to go to school.

Police say a cab stopped, the graduate student leaned in, and the driver suddenly drove off.

Police say they are still searching for the driver who was in a white cab with blue stripes.
