It was a renewed call to stop the violence after three young men were killed Tuesday afternoon near a Chicago beach.
Kristopher Jackson, Joseph Powell and Pierre Beard were shot and killed.
Witnesses said two men ran up to the victims, opened fire, and then ran away.
The shooting happened in the 7600-block of S. Coles, not far from Rainbow Beach.
