The 13th Ward Alderman Frank Olivo will not try to run for another term.
He hasn't commented but a Madigan spokesman says Olivo is quitting for health reasons.
Before the decision, both Olivo and Marty Quinn -- another Madigan supporter -- had filed for the seat.
