Found Chicago opens animal rehab facility

Animal shelters are full of pets looking for new homes, but it can be tougher to adopt animals that need rehabilitation.

Found Chicago is a non-profit organization that takes care of these animals and offers them up for adoption.

The group just opened a new facility, and you can tour that on Sunday, April 10.

Executive Director Alicia Boemi visited us in our ABC7 studio to talk about that and ways you can get involved.

Found Chicago is also still looking for members to join its team for the Chicago Marathon, which takes place on Sunday, October 9.
