Detectives are questioning a 28-year-old man in connection with the deadly shooting of 22-year-old Brianna Gardner, of Dallas, Texas. The hotel's cleaning crew found her in a seventh floor room of the hotel. She died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Charges are now pending against the man. The Chicago Tribune is reporting that he was out on parole for a drug conviction and has a criminal history that includes burglary and aggravated battery.
