Starting late Friday night, the CTA will close the Red Line Argyle stop for major reconstruction work.

The station will be out of service for up to six weeks. During the closure, customers who normally board trains at Argyle should go north to the Berwyn station or south to the Lawrence station.

The rehab is part of a larger overall infrastructure improvement project to seven stations along the Red Line's northern end.
