Crews will be working on lanes in both directions between Sheridan and Foster and between Belmont and North Avenue. At least two lanes will be open while the resurfacing is being done.
The Chicago Department of Transportation warns there might be some delays because of the work, which will occur both day and night on off-peak hours. No lane obstructions are planned during rush hours -- neither in the southbound direction between 6-10 a.m., nor in the northbound direction between 3-7 p.m.
The resurfacing should be finished by the first week of November.
All four lanes in each direction will be resurfaced – a total of 2.75 miles of roadway.
