Study: Easier to quit smoking with nicotine patches, prescription medications

An international study finds those who use nicotine patches or prescription medications are more likely to kick the habit.

Past research has brought conflicting evidence about the effectiveness of such aids.

But the current research in the journal Addiction find some quitting aids were linked to a four to six fold higher success rates.
