An autopsy finds a man killed by Chicago Police as he drove away from them was shot in the back.

Investigators say Chicago detectives were on a stake-out Tuesday in East Hazel Crest.

They say the driver, Ryan Rogers, struck a detective's vehicle before trying to get away. Then the shots were fired.

His girlfriend says Rogers didn't know the men were police and thought he was being robbed.

The Independent Police Review Authority is investigating the police shooting.
