Two Northwest Side alderman are calling for a hearing to try and turn down the volume. Aldermen Mary O'Connor and Margaret Laurino want the city council's aviation committee to look into the complaints.
From September to November, complaints to the city-run, toll-free hotline reportedly rose 124 percent.
The hearing is tentatively scheduled for January 27.
