Nicole Salerno, Partner/Director of Event Sales & Catering for Rockit Ranch Productions, came into our ABC 7 Eyewitness News studio to show us tips for St. Patrick's Day décor, easy snacks and DIY party games.
Nicole Salerno's Tips:
- Don't forget the party favors! Send guest's home with their own pot of gold with party bags filled with gold candy coins and or other chocolates wrapped in gold foil.
- Horseshoe and clover themes bring the luck, while glitzy gold and rainbows will make any kiddie smile.
- DIY stations let kids decide for themselves. Set up an Over-The-Rainbow cupcake station where kids can decorate cupcakes with their favorite colored frostings.
- A Pot of Gold Popcorn Bar with multi colored popcorns add a color pop to any party.
- Keep snacks bite sized for small hands to grab!
- Bring in green elements like festive green and white stripped straws, green polka dot ribbons
- Give your spread texture with astro turf squares from local retailers like Home Depot
- Themed sweet treats like mini green Shami Shakes, Orange soda floats, Guinness cupcakes and green macaroons will keep the green party going.
- Use layered linens in festive colors to set the stage.
