Kevin Tillman charged in Forest Park sex assault

FOREST PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Kevin Tillman, 30, was charged in connection with the sexual assault of a teen in a suburban Cook County Forest Preserve.

Cook County Sheriff's investigators said the girl was attacked around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, while walking alone on Madison Street near First Avenue in Forest Park. She was coming home from a homecoming dance in Chicago.

Tillman is accused of following the teen from the Forest Park train station. She was allegedly grabbed, forced into a nearby forest preserve and sexually assaulted.

Tillman, of the 4900-block of West Adams Street in Chicago, was charged with aggravated sexual assault and unlawful restraint.

He is due in bond court in Maywood on Friday.
