AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- An Aurora University student is charged with criminal sexual abuse and unlawful restraint following an incident with another student early Saturday morning, police say.
Police say Kelly Moore, 22, of Chicago, accompanied a 19-year-old female student to her dorm room when and after she allowed him into the room Moore suddenly picked her up, causing the door to close behind her. Moore then allegedly sexually abused her despite her telling him to stop and her attempts at freeing herself.
Aurora Police Detectives took Moore into custody Sunday evening and he appeared in bond court Sunday morning where a Kane County judge set Moore's bond at $40,000.
