'Pick-a-Logo Bandit' strikes 3 Chicago area banks

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification of a suspect in three Chicago area bank robberies.

The "Pick-a-Logo Bandit" earned the nickname by wearing jackets with a variety of logos on the front. He first struck last November at a U.S. Bank branch in the city's West Lawn neighborhood, then again at the same bank in January. The bandit's latest robbery took place on February 27 at a U.S. Bank branch in suburban Hometown.

In each case, the suspect either threatened to have or actually revealed a handgun during the robberies, though the gun was never discharged and no reported injuries in any of the heists.

The suspect is described by witnesses as a male, black, 25-30 years old with a thin build. He has worn a variety of hats during the heists, and is considered by police to be armed and dangerous.
