FBI investigates armed bank robbery on Northwest Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are investigating after a Wintrust Bank was robbed in the city's Northwest Side.

Police say a 37-year-old man walked into the bank, located in the 3000-block of N. Harlem Ave., around 3:15 p.m. with a gun and announced a robbery. The teller complied and the man allegedly fled with an unknown amount of cash.

No one was injured.
