Blackhawks Stanley Cup tickets go on sale Tuesday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- After a nail-biting playoffs series, fans have the opportunity to watch the Chicago Blackhawks play in the 2015 Stanley Cup final games.

A limited amount of tickets for home games in the Stanley Cup will go on sale Tuesday at noon, the team announced Monday. Fans can purchase tickets exclusively via Ticketmaster online or by calling 800-745-3000.

Ticket purchases are limited to four tickets per customer.

Price points of tickets in the market place are 25%-35 percent too high, sometimes more. The market is artificially inflated at the start of most major sporting events. The market will start correcting itself when the person that is fortunate to own season tickets or is lucky in the on-sale realizes that America is not going to pay the exorbitant prices.

The question should be asked if this is the right price in the market place, why are the tickets still for sale on the various web sites? The true market in my opinion is the 100 level starts at $1550.00 200 level clubs start at 1350.00 and the 300 level is around 500.00. I've been doing this since 1987 and have gone through a lot of market ebbs and flows.

As for the nonsense in Tampa with the ownership trying to dissuade loyal Hawks fans, it is against your First Amendment rights to tell anyone what to wear as long as there is no clear and present danger. As for not allowing anyone to buy tickets outside of being a Florida resident, it is an antitrust violation and completely illegal. It is against league policy as well and will be dealt with as it was in Nashville.

Counterfeit tickets are always an issue. If it is too good to be true, 100 percent of the time it is a fake! Common sense: Buy from licensed ticket brokers Reputable sights such as Stubhub, Vivid seats etc. DO NOT BUY OFF THE STREET
