Ald. Bob Fioretti in hospital with flu symptoms

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Ald. Bob Fioretti has been hospitalized with flu-like symptoms and a fever, a spokesperson said.

Fioretti went to Northwestern Memorial Hospital Tuesday and has been undergoing tests since then, officials said. He will remain in the hospital for more observation.

Fioretti finished fourth in the February mayoral election and this past weekend endorsed Mayor Rahm Emanuel for re-election.
