Buckingham Fountain opens for season

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's famous Buckingham Fountain began flowing for the season Saturday.

It's typically a sign that summer is upon us, but Saturday's cool weather seems to the contrary. It turned out to be a chilly celebration in Grant Park.

Officials with ComEd and the Chicago Park District flipped the switch Saturday evening.
