Former Chicago cab driver convicted in 2012 sexual assault

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A former Chicago cab driver has been convicted of a brutal sexual assault.

Prosecutors say in 2012 Admon Shasho followed a woman into an alley, tried to steal her phone and then assaulted her.

He was convicted on two counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted robbery.

He's scheduled to be back in court on Feb. 2.
