I-88 eastbound reopens after crash at Rte. 53 near Lisle

LISLE, Ill. -- Eastbound lanes on I-88 have reopened after a eight-vehicle crash at Route 53 in west suburban Lisle.

Investigators say the crash occurred after a semi-truck pulling semi-trailer jackknifed near mile marker 130 around 4:20 p.m. Thursday.

Four people were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Officials are continuing to investigate.
