Police investigate unoccupied car found in Sherman Park pond

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are trying to determine how a car ended up in the pond at Sherman Park.

The submerged vehicle was found around 7:30 a.m. at the park near Racine Avenue and Garfield Boulevard in the New City neighborhood.

Firefighters said no one was inside the car.
