Carjacker gets 10 years in prison

CHICAGO -- A man who stole a car with a sleeping boy inside was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Deangelo Fountain jumped in the car in February 2014 while a Park Ridge woman unloaded groceries. A child was asleep inside.

The woman screamed at Fountain, but he drove away. Minutes later, he abandoned the car in a Skokie alley. The child was found safe.

Fountain pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular carjacking.
