Casa Queretaro to bring more affordable housing to Pilsen

CHICAGO (WLS) -- More affordable housing is coming to Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.

Community leaders and the people behind the project held a shovel ceremony for Casa Queretaro, which will replace the empty lot on the corner of Damen and 17th Street.

The new construction will create a four-story energy-efficient building with 45 state-of-the-art units.
